During the first three months of the 2020 coronavirus lockdown, I asked people to send me “hand selfies” from wherever they were sheltered in place. More than 100 people responded (not all of whom I was able to include in the final version). I linked the photos into a long chain as a way to show that even when circumstances require us to be physically separated, we’re all still connected.
