(Music Video)

In the wake of the Great Recession, state budget cuts threatened to severely undermine the U.S. public education system. (At the California community college where I was a faculty member, one-third of our courses would have had to be cut.) I made this video in 2012 to encourage people to vote for an upcoming bill that would restore education funding to workable levels. It’s essentially a rap video, but given who I am, I adopted an old-white-guy style of rapping.
